Lesson Information
Parents are responsible for coordinating optimal lesson days/times. Lessons should be scheduled on a regular basis, with weekly and bi-weekly options available.
Schedule
Length
Lesson times may range from 30-75 minutes, depending on a student's comfort and musical level. Longer lessons are strongly advised for more advanced students.
The studio provides a goal-setting environment that guides each student toward short and long term success. To do so, students are required to practice regularly following each lesson.
Committment
Fees and Tuition
Payments may be made depending on frequency of lessons and convenience for your family. For lesson rates, please contact Lillian.
NOTE: A complementary first lesson is offered to all new students. This allows us to get to know you and plan the best way to approach future lessons.
Purpose
Each lesson aims to best develop a student's musicality and mastery of repertoire. Students will cultivate strong practice habits, performance skills, and artistic sensitivity.
Recitals

About Recitals
To allow students to share the music they've learned with families and friends, the studio hosts two semi-annual recitals each year: A Holiday celebration recital, and a Spring recital.
Students are prepared for performances in their lessons and are expected to continue their practice at home to reach their maximum potential.
Recitals are an excellent way of developing students' confidence in front of an audience, as well as motivate them to explore and master new repertoire each year.
The recitals give students an opportunity to set goals in their practice on what they would like to improve on for the recital.
